Top-Notch Training

Once hired, Berry employees are introduced to a state-of-the-art blended learning approach where we combine web-based and instructor-led training to ensure maximum learning comprehension and retention. Our goal is to develop employee capabilities (mindset, knowledge and skills) to help them succeed throughout their careers and exceed our customers' expectations. Employees are continually challenged to reach farther, expand their skills and knowledge and they are empowered to do so with numerous training opportunities.

The Training and Development Department provides a continuous learning environment that includes internal and external seminars, computer-based training and self-study opportunities. Additionally, as members of the BellSouth family, Berry managers are encouraged to take advantage of the extensive management-training curriculum available through the BellSouth Leadership Institute, which focuses on developing key skill sets found in successful leaders.

Creating Tomorrow's Leaders—Today

Berry Leadership Training

Our extensive management training curriculum enhances the ability of our managers to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to elevate their teams' success. New managers are provided with three weeks of intensive activity-based learning with the expectation that what is covered in the classroom will have immediate practical application on the job.

Berry Leadership Training is divided into three sections:

  • Employee Relations

  • Employee Development

  • Sales Operations

During these sessions, managers are taught to recruit, develop and retain quality employees, to uphold Berry's corporate philosophy, culture and values, and to utilize Berry's many diagnostic and developmental sales development tools.
